Greyed Out

Hello beauties!
Earlier today I volunteered to be a model for one of my old friend, Camille's make up exam. It was good to catch up with her, haven't seen her since my 18th birthday. The theme for her exam was grey scale, right out of a black and white picture.

I wished I took a before shot but I totally forgot!
But here's a sketch on what she was planning to do to my face...
The drawing was done in make up!
AND THE RESULT!
Darkened Beauty
She mostly used Ben Nye and Make Up Forever to do this look

Punk Out

So much for posting everyday huh? I apologize again, I overestimated my freedom from school, work and volunteer. Anyways I got some free time now and I will be posting another outfit I was meaning to publish but just forgot to do so.

Punk Out
Something about this outfit screams punk.
When I wore this outfit I felt like a bad ass.
The dark red lipstick also helped with the feeling.
Lip: 124 Bordeaux - Rimmel London
(excuse my face)
Black Toque - XXI
Charcoal Tee Shirt Dress - H&M
Triangle Necklace - XXI
Sheer Tights - H&M
Over the Knee Socks - XXI
Black Leather Boots - H&M

Long Black Sweater - H&M

Leather Jacket - XXI

Close up of the booties!

Rings - XXI

Close up of the necklace!

I didn't realize this outfit was only H&M and XXI. Those two stores have been my wardrobe since I got into fashion. They're pretty cheap and stylish.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post and if you're trying to look like a bad ass the necessities are: black, leather jackets and an apathetic attitude(KIDDING!).

Till next time lovelies~

p.s: thanks Michelle for taking these pictures!

All About That Plaid

Another outfit I was meaning to post but just forgot about it.

All About That Plaid
Black Capucine Top: Aritzia
Plaid Scarf: H&M
Boyfriend Jeans: Old Navy
Brown Suede Ankle Booties: H&M

I was looking at a mirror

Olive Jacket: BCBG

Rings: H&M

Gold Chain: Value Village
Excuse the lint on my shirt, the scarf is very linty.

Close up of the brown suede booties

I would wear this outfit when I'm going out for a walk in the park or going around downtown. I thought this outfit was too plain so I decided to wear my patterned plaid scarf. To make your dull outfit a little more stylish just add a pattern to it to make it pop or stand out a little!

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Ciao for now~

Dolled Up

I was going to post my trip to the Bloedel Floral Conservatory with Lance but I decided I should finally do a post that pertains to fashion! Besides I was meaning to post some of my outfits but I just forgot to.

Dolled Up
This would be something I would wear during a special occasion.
Or if I just wanted to dress up and feel amazing about myself
(there's just something about getting dolled up for yourself, you know?)
Depending on which occasion it is I try to fit the theme by working with my bottoms.
This was taken in December I believe and during that time I had a lot of Christmas parties to go to.
I don't own anything bright red so I thought maroon would be the perfect substitute!
Photos were taken by my lovely best friend: Michelle del Mundo
Hair: Doughnut Bun
Gold Lace Peter Pan Collar Necklace: $10 XXI
White Crew Neck Sweater: Mum's
Maroon Long Pencil Skirt: $12 H&M
Ankle Studded Booties: $30 XXI

no idea

I am aware of the tiny bits of hair sticking out of my bun!
I can't wait for my hair to grow so it won't be like that anymore.

Long pencil skirts is never a let down. You look classy and it hides that food baby or the gut (personally why I wear it a lot haha!) To make it even fancier or sophisticated just accessorize or do an up-do for your hair, perhaps even curl it! You can also throw on a bright or dark lipstick colour to add some class to your outfit! As for the top it really depends on what event you're going to and what you're comfortable wearing. I chose a sweater because it was during December and December in Canada is pretty darn cold!

Hope you lovelies enjoyed this post and hopefully it can give you an idea on what to wear on the next formal or semi-formal event you need to attend or for your personal enjoyment!

Till next time beauties!
